Land-Based Searches
- Call-Out Fee: $50 for each visit within Kingston City Limits. This includes:
- The first hour of the search
- All necessary equipment
- An experienced detectorist
- Hourly Charges: After the first hour, there is a $20 fee for each additional hour.
- Finder’s Fee: If a lost item is found, a $50 fee will be added.
- Mileage Outside Kingston: $0.50/km for distances beyond Kingston City limits (starting north of the 401 from Gardeners to HWY 15).
Water-Based Recoveries
- Shallow Water Recoveries: Same cost structure as land searches.
- Deep Water Recoveries: Prices vary based on location and diver used. Discuss compensation with the diver before the search.
Island Fees
- Wolfe, Amherst, & Howe Islands: An additional $30 fee applies to cover costs.
